She was only 18 at the time. Her salon was barely 385 square feet when she opened it, but in just two years, her business and passion for nails expanded.

Tammy was having trouble with the nail products on the market by 1983. They weren’t working the way she wanted them to, and she realized something had to change. Tammy then decided to create her own nail product company. Tammy created her business entirely on her own in her nail salon. Her initial collection comprised a Nail Liquid, Pink Nail Powder, White Nail Powder, and a Non-Lifting Primer. Tammy’s Core Line now includes nearly 2,000 goods.

Tammy has won numerous honors for her work and goods. She has garnered over 40 Readers Choice Awards from Nails Magazine, as well as the NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) Remarkable Women Lifetime Achievement Award.
