With the exception of the OR Tambo Airport station, all of the stations have integrated car parking and drop-off facilities.

At the moment, the Gautrain bus line runs on not less than 20 routes that provide risk-free and effectual access to their train stations.

How To Access Gautrain Services

In order to access the Gautrain train or bus service, one is required to have a Gautrain Card with a least amount of R32 loaded onto it. An alternative means is to have a Contactless bank card. Gautrain Cards may be used again by just loading an amount as and when required.

The Gautrain Card or Contactless bank card is required to tag into and out of the stations, bus and parking. This was put in place so that, any applicable discounts are automatically calculated and deducted from the fares of the passengers. One is liable to “paying a penalty fee” if he/she fails to tag out of the service.
