  • Get up to R50,000 pay-outs
  • There is a tombstone benefit between R3,000 and R5,000
  • No grocery benefit on this plan

Standard Bank Classic Funeral Plan

  • Standard Bank Classic Funeral Plan premiums are R220 per month.
  • Choose your benefit level; your premiums will be computed appropriately.
  • Pay-out is up to R50,000
  • The benefit for the tombstone is R5,000
  • R2,000 monthly grocery benefit for twelve months

Standard Bank Funeral Plan Lite

  • For just R46 a month you get Standard Bank Funeral Plan Lite cover
  • This cover is for you, your spouse or partner, and up to five children
  • Up to R7,000 pay-out
  • No tombstone benefit available on this plan
  • An R800 grocery benefit paid every month for six months to your beneficiaries

Standard Bank Funeral Cover

The maximum funeral cover amounts are as follows:

  • R100 000 for the main member and spouse
  • R20 000 for children 6 years old and younger
  • R50 000 for children older than 6 years
  • R80 000 for parents and in-laws

Optional additional funeral benefits for main member and spouse at an additional premium:

  • A maximum of R20 000 for the memorial
  • A maximum of R20 000 for the catering
  • Up to R2 000 for groceries, payable monthly for 6 or 12 months (maximum R24 000)

Optional additional benefits for ALL other lives at an additional premium:

  • Repatriation benefit – Options available: R10 000 & R25 000
